# What to do if tracking sessions aren't appearing in your traffic analytics
## Troubleshoot missing session data in HubSpot traffic analytics and ensure your tracking URLs are set up correctly.
First, check the following:
- Sessions only show up if the tracking URL has been viewed at least once in the selected time frame. Adjust the time frame at the top of the Sources report.
- Ensure the HubSpot tracking code is on the linked page. Tracking URLs won’t capture views on pages without the code, such as PDFs, images, or external websites.
- Verify that the tracking URL has the correct parameters and is properly formatted.
- If testing the URL, ensure you’re not accessing it from a filtered IP address.
*Note: If sessions appear but not in the expected category, review how HubSpot categorises sessions based on tracking parameters.*
### For HubSpot tracking URLs in Google Ads:
- Use the full tracking URL, not the shortened version. Google Ads now requires upgraded URLs.
- Place the full tracking URL in the **Final destination** field, not the **Destination**
- The Final destination field must match the domain of the landing page URL. For example, if your landing page is http://offers.yoursite.com/demo, your Final destination must include com.
