A glossary if you are experiencing account and email provider issues
In HubSpot, when you attempt to enrol a contact in a sequence, you may encounter error messages informing you that the contact cannot be enrolled.
Here are some common reasons why a sequence may not be behaving as expected:

Gmail send error |
The first step in the sequence was sent through Gmail and failed. HubSpot cannot determine the cause of the error. |
Try re-enrolling the contact from Gmail after a few minutes. |

Solution
After a few minutes, try re-enrolling the contact from Gmail again
If the issue persists:
- Contact Google Support
- Use the CRM to enrol the contact.
Inbox disconnected
Meaning: HubSpot was unable to access your email account to send the sequence step because your inbox disconnected.
Solution
- Check your inbox connection within HubSpot.
- Verify the connection in your email client.
